Carvoeiro is an attractive town in Portugal's sunny Algarve. It is only a 40 minute drive from Faro airport and only 7miles from the cosmopolitan centre of Portimao.
The town of Carvoeiro is a charming coastal resort which huddles around a beautiful bay backed by dramatic cliffs. There are many shops and restaurants offering not only native Portuguese cuisine, but food from around the world.
A number of other beaches are within a short driving distance of the villa/apartment and there is plenty of opportunity for coastal cliff walks as well.

GOLF
Carvoeiro is also an excellent location for golf, with some exceptionally
beautiful and challenging courses in the area, including a championship course.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Opportunities for horse riding, tennis, massage and gym facilities are in and around Carvoeiro. Some nearby beaches provide a range of water sports. There is also plenty worth seeing inland, such as the famous 'red castle' in Silves and the ancient mountain spa town of Caldas da Monchique. The Wine Makers Cooperative in Lagoa is also well worth a visit and it is possible to tour the cellars and 'try before you buy'.
Boat trips can be taken on small fishing boats from Carvoeiro town, whilst a wider range of trips and vessels depart from Portimao providing opportunities to see the magnificent Algarve coast line from the sea, and visit some of the more remote bays, coves and isolated beaches. There are also opportunities to snorkel and dive.

Well when we went to Carvoeiro, we liked it so much that we bought the villa and
apartment. We have actually lived in both properties as second homes.
We are sure many of us have booked holiday accommodation and arrived, only to find it in a less than desirable area, or poorly decorated, or badly furnished and equipped. When we go away on holiday we want to be in a pleasant location, in high quality accommodation - and this is what we will be sharing with you when you make your booking with us.
